A Scholar–Practitioner Driving Systemic Change.

Dr. Marquis Mason is an accomplished educational leader with more than 15 years of experience driving systemic change in K–12 schools and districts nationwide. His expertise in equity-focused instructional practices, coaching, and data-informed school improvement has consistently enhanced teaching effectiveness and improved student outcomes, particularly for historically marginalized communities.

He currently serves as a strategic and education consultant with an independent nonprofit research organization, where he leads strategic consulting, professional learning, and equity-focused research for public-sector and educational partners. His earlier career experience includes serving as an instructional coach, postsecondary STEM instructor, classroom teacher, and instructional leader in K–12 public schools.
